Request Account Deletion
This page explains how users of Hijrah Nikah can request deletion of their account and associated personal data. You can use this page as the public deletion URL for the Hijrah Nikah app listing.
How to request deletion
- Open the Hijrah Nikah app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings, then select Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps in the app to submit the deletion request.
- If you cannot access the app, email support@hijrahnikah.com from your registered email address with the subject Account Deletion Request.

Data deleted from active systems
- Account details such as your email address and login profile.
- Profile information you added, including your bio, preferences, and match-related details.
- Wali details, profile photos, and other content you uploaded to your account.
- Messages and media associated with your account in our active systems, subject to the retention items below.
Data that may be retained
- Records we must keep for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes, including financial transaction records, typically for up to 7 years.
- Backup copies that may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days before deletion.
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics data that cannot reasonably identify you, which may be retained.
Processing timeline
We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Where account deletion is initiated inside the app, the request starts immediately. Some retained data may remain for the periods listed above before final removal.
